Jason Poppen
Chief Executive Officer
Jason J. Poppen serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Green Companies, Inc., the CEO and President of HR Green, Inc. (HR Green), and the President of GCI Development. He has served on the company’s Board of Directors since 2013.
Jason joined the firm in 2002. His career spans both the private and public sectors, giving him a unique perspective and an ability to anticipate challenges and navigate the Federal, State, and local process for the firm and its clients.
Jason has provided leadership in multiple areas of HR Green, supporting growth initiatives and strategic investments.
External engagement is important to Jason, and he actively participates in a variety of organizations such as the American Road and Transportation Builders Association and the Houston ACEC Governmental Affairs Committee, as well as various Economic Development Councils, partnerships, and advocacy groups.
Jason has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
