Bill Lewis is an Area Manager for HR Green’s Construction business line.
Bill is responsible for the engineering and technical staff as part of the construction, documentation, and inspection. He coordinates closely with clients, contractors, local governments, utilities, and other project stakeholders to effectively communicate and resolve conflicts and verifies the project meets or exceeds audit requirements. Bill provides technical expertise to the project staff to resolve project issues and manages project staffing levels and the project budget.
Bill previously spent over 26 years at the Illinois Department of Transportation in Construction, where he managed several of the largest and most complex projects in District 4. He was instrumental in training and managing the district’s construction staff. Additionally, Bill served as the City Engineer for the City of Peoria, where he was responsible for developing and implementing the City’s Capital Improvement Program.
