The Trails at Regal Park

Lubbock Land Company wanted to design a new urbanist residential community in Lubbock, Texas. The Trails at Regal Park project consists of over 250 lots and was designed to promote social interaction and walkability. Two neighborhood parks are the central meeting space with trails interconnecting the entire community. Attractive architectural styles and beautiful landscaping such as tree-lined streets and elaborate parks are all connected by walking trails. This project is one of Lubbock’s newest master-planned communities with a broad range of attractive architectural styles. The design details are very important in this project as the tree-canopied boulevards lead you past architectural elements toward central parks that are the main focus of the community.

HR Green performed all of the land planning and lot layouts for the Trails at Regal Park and created the theme and conceptual landscape architecture design. The design provides a dramatic entrance view to the parks, landscape buffers, entryway signage, and trail networks throughout the community to establish a cohesive community character. The elaborate central park includes a recirculating stream, extensive shade structure, waterfalls, rock walls, decorative paving, and large open lawn areas. Additionally, this park is Lubbock’s only wi-fi park allowing residents to use their wi-fi ready devices anywhere within the park.
