July 09, 2024

HR Green is pleased to announce that Blaine Perkins, PLA, has joined the firm as a Planning and Landscape Architecture Lead.

Blaine has over five years of experience in landscape architecture and regional planning, including design and entitlement support, construction administration, and residential design guidelines and review. He has worked alongside numerous municipalities across the Front Range of Colorado and will broaden his experience in different markets.

In this role, Blaine will lead the Planning/Landscape Architecture team to serve clients and implement projects across all of HR Green’s geographic locations. Separate from leading the PLA group, Blaine will also use his local resources in Colorado to support the Business Development team.

“I am thrilled to join the experienced HR Green team and help continue the company’s mission of “Building Communities. Improving Lives.” throughout the state of Colorado. My passion is providing efficient, thoughtful, and safe design approaches that contribute to our local communities. I am eager for the challenges and opportunities ahead and look forward to applying my previous experience to this new role.”

Growing up in Texas, Blaine decided to follow his family’s legacy and attend Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Urban and Regional Planning. During his time at Texas A&M University, Blaine was presented with the opportunity to continue his education at the University of Bonn in Germany. This valuable experience abroad kick-started his passion for regional planning. He is a member of the Housing and Building Association (HBA) of Colorado Springs and is the current Tri-Lakes Committee Chair. Starting in 2025, he plans to expand his focus in the HBA with a position on their Board of Directors.
