HR Green’s Rebekkah Sandt Awarded Young Engineer of the Year Award by the Texas Chapter of APWA
Rebekkah Sandt, PE has been named one of Houston’s Young Engineers of the Year for 2020. Rebekkah and 16 others will receive the “Young Engineer of The Year (YEOY)” award during Houston Engineers Week at the 2020 Young Engineer of the Year Banquet Dinner held at Norris Conference Center on February 17, 2020.
Rebekkah is receiving the YEOY from the Texas Chapter of APWA, Southeast Branch. She currently serves as Secretary for the branch and has served as Assistant Secretary and participated as a member of the CIP Briefings Committee and Scholarship Committee.
Rebekkah joined HR Green in 2015, supporting the wastewater public group in Houston as a Project Manager and Group Leader. She is a valuable member of the team, building communities and improving the lives of those in and around the Houston area.

Rebekkah also helps to further STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) initiatives and co-chairs HeR Green, an outreach and retention group for women within HR Green.
