AWWA Recognizes HR Green's Mark Hardie with George Warren Fuller Award
Mark Hardie, PE, received the George Warren Fuller Award from the American Water Works Association (AWWA) at the organization’s ACE conference in San Antonio, Texas, on June 15.
Hardie joins the ranks of other notable water solutions professionals who have been honored over the organization’s 100+ year history. AWWA’s highest engineering award is presented annually to select members for their distinguished service in commemorating the sound engineering skills, brilliant diplomatic talent, and constructive leadership that characterized the life of George Warren Fuller.
Mark serves as a Senior Project Manager at HR Green, where he has worked for over 22 years. A native of South Dakota, Mark has spent much of his career working with utilities and municipalities in South Dakota. His career has also taken him to Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Oregon. Mark’s projects have included a diverse range of water supply treatment and distribution.
Mark cares deeply about his community and serving in the water sector. He routinely contributes to local organizations and mentors young staff in their development as water professionals. His distinguished career serves as an example of leadership, engineering principles, and commitment to water quality.
