AWWA Recognizes HR Green's Fiona Allen with George Warren Fuller Award
HR Green’s Fiona Allen, PE, received the George Warren Fuller Award from the American Water Works Association (AWWA) at the organization’s ACE conference in Toronto this June.
Allen joins the ranks of other notable water solutions professionals who have been honored over the organization’s 100+ year history. AWWA’s highest engineering award is presented annually to select members for their distinguished service in commemorating the sound engineering skills, brilliant diplomatic talent, and constructive leadership that characterized the life of George Warren Fuller.
Fiona serves as a Senior Advisor at HR Green and has over 35 years of experience providing engineering services, including planning, design, construction, and financial planning for regional wholesale water and wastewater treatment services for municipalities, municipal utility districts, and the DFW International Airport.
Her responsibilities include representing clients at customer advisory meetings, formulation and review of operating budgets, engaging with the US Army Corps of Engineers, strategic planning with municipalities, planning authorities, board members, staff and other stakeholders, and the organization and completion of bond sales to complete projects. Fiona cares deeply about her community and serving in the water sector. Her distinguished career serves as an example of leadership, engineering principles, and commitment to water quality.
