HR Green Announces Partnership with Broadband.money to Help Communities Tap Broadband Funding
HR Green, Inc. (HR Green) has formed a strategic partnership with Broadband.money (Ready.net), bringing its clients direct access to broadband funding eligibility and a dedicated team of grant planners and engineering services on one streamlined platform.
Using Broadband.money’s next generation geospatial broadband mapping and data platform, will provide HR Green with access to broadband mapping data and customized state and local maps to provide a comprehensive understanding of eligibility for BEAD funding and coordination with state broadband offices, including CPF and BEAD challenge processes, community anchor institution identification and coordination – for both communities, operators, and Internet Service Providers (ISP).
With the allocation of over $42 billion in grants through the BEAD grant program, this partnership will help providers obtain these grants efficiently through grant identification, eligibility, application, feasibility, and planning, to include the necessary engineering and design services to implement and deploy robust broadband networks and adhere to the federal compliance and reporting requirements post-deployment.
“We’re excited to leverage the exceptional capabilities of Ready’s Broadband.money platform to align our work with comprehensive broadband mapping data,” said Ed Barrett, Vice President and Broadband Practice Leader for HR Green. “We believe our partnership will also provide an exceptional opportunity for communities and ISPs to work together seamlessly with our proven design and grant teams to evaluate and apply for BEAD funding as it becomes available. We’re excited to create an even deeper solution for our many partners in the broadband space.”
Scott D. Woods, Ready’s President for Public-Private Partnerships, echoes this sentiment.
“The country is making its largest investment ever in broadband and digital equity and efficiency in procuring and deploying federal funds are the keys to success. We see HR Green as a perfect partner for our platform. We are excited about its work to enhance operational capacity and impact for the broadband industry and ultimately the local communities that providers will serve.”
