Project Engineer | Illinois Water + Wastewater
Sylwia Kokoszka is a Project Engineer for HR Green’s Water and Wastewater Practice Line.
Sylwia received her B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and M.Eng. in Sustainable Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Sylwia’s experience includes analysis, design, planning, and permitting of stormwater systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, and potable water treatment systems.
Sylwia has a strong passion for the environment and for embracing sustainability from a systems perspective. She has initiated HR Green’s Sustainability Committee and is developing a sustainability roadmap to optimize the organization’s green initiatives. The Sustainability Committee is evaluating HR Green’s vehicle fleet and office operations to identify opportunities to reduce energy, water, and waste use organization-wide. The committee is also working to identify methods to maximize sustainability services offered to our clients.
