Yorkville Bristol Bay Master Planned Community

Bristol Bay – Centex Homes, a subsidiary of Pulte Group, Inc., retained HR Green to develop this 630-acre community in Yorkville, Illinois. The community features a range of housing options including 277 single-family homes, 552 townhomes, and 720 condominium homes.

This master-planned community includes a number of amenities for its residents including Bristol Bay Elementary School, a community clubhouse with a pool, basketball, sand volleyball, jogging and walking trails, and a large regional park. The park space also provides the City of Yorkville with a regional stormwater management facility. HR Green worked in collaboration with Centex Homes, City Staff, City Consultants, the Sanitary District, and the Illinois EPA to develop plans for the park, the stormwater management facility, and a temporary sanitary sewage system that could be implemented prior to permanent sanity sewer extensions to the site.

The project also required off-site roadway improvements, which were coordinated by HR Green through the Kendall County Highway Department. HR Green’s relationships with the local jurisdiction, the Highway Department, and the various permitting agencies, helped streamline approvals and ultimately decreased the amount of time required for Centex Homes to deliver homesites for buyers.
