Roads and Bridges Magazine onsite for HR Green’s I-88 Tollway Project

Roads and Bridges Magazine was recently onsite for the I-88 Tollway Project in Illinois with HR Green, Inc. (Construction Management), Walsh (General Contractor) and the Illinois Tollway personnel to develop a story on the technology being utilized on the Tollway. Tollway communications personnel, reporters, and HR Green staff met at the field office in Oak Brook, IL. They discussed the project and ongoing operations with Walsh utilizing electronics and advanced technologies to place the concrete pavement under a Performance-Based specification. The full interview should be available in the next issue of Roads and Bridges Magazine. HR Green was mentioned in the podcast at the 6:55 mark. This effort highlights the Illinois Tollway’s continued commitment to improving the traffic network around Chicago.
