HR Green Welcomes Joe Kenney as an Engineering Group Leader

HR Green is pleased to announce that Joe Kenney, PE, MBA, has joined the firm’s McHenry office as the Illinois Engineering Group Leader for the Municipal Services Business Unit.

Joe has over 20 years of municipal engineering experience. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to advancing public infrastructure projects and leading strategies that consistently meet operational and financial goals.

Joe has successfully managed numerous infrastructure projects, guiding them from concept through design, permitting, funding, and construction. He has also played a key role in municipal shared services and staff augmentation, helping communities achieve economies of scale and maximize their resources. In his previous roles as Community Development and Public Works Director, Joe has developed a keen understanding of client expectations and the importance of delivering results for residents. He is ready to support our municipal clients in achieving their local goals.

Joe earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA in Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He is an active member of APWA and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Illinois.
