HR Green’s Sioux Falls, South Dakota office recently hosted a dynamic Leaders’ Lunch, where we engaged in meaningful discussions with Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken and Director of Public Works Mark Cotter, along with HR Green’s CEO Jason Poppen, Water President Ajay Jain, and Water Vice President Mike Halde.
Sioux Falls is a vital client for HR Green, and our partnership spans 35 years of collaboration. The City of Sioux Falls consistently ranks as one of HR Green’s top 10 clients, reflecting our shared commitment to advancing the city’s growth. Over the years, we have contributed to major sewer studies, significant Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) construction and design projects, and essential follow-up work.
The HR Green team’s deep understanding of Sioux Falls’ design and construction goals has been demonstrated through key projects such as the WRF improvements and expansion, 10th Street improvements east of I-229, and the Water Purification Division Master Plan. From street design and rehabilitation to sanitary sewers, pump stations, and force mains, our experience in cost estimation, detailed planning, and execution has consistently led to competitive bids with minimal change orders.
