Johnsburg Plan Review and Inspection Services

Challenge: HR Green proudly serves as the appointed Village Engineer for the Village of Johnsburg and has for 20 years. As Village Engineer, HR Green provides ongoing engineering and program/project management, including plan and plat review and construction-related services for development projects. We have completed all plan reviews and inspections for the Village’s Building Department Services facility.

Solution: HR Green is responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of plans; attending meetings with developers to discuss review comments; coordinating projects, schedules and other related issues with Community Development, Public Works and Engineering Departments; attending weekly development meetings with managers and staff; attending Planning and Zoning Commission and Board meetings, and preparing monthly activity reports for all ongoing projects.

HR Green also performs design services for Capital Improvement Projects of all types, including MFT road programs, roadway reconstruction projects, water and wastewater treatment plans, hydrographic and hydraulic studies and designs, wetland mitigation plans, bid path projects, bridge inspections, bridge replacement and improvements to municipal sites (parks, public works facilities and other infrastructure improvements). HR Green also serves as the Village Planner.

Benefit: HR Green is responsible for ongoing engineering and program/project management, including the overall management of the subdivision and site improvement review and approval process from concept plan through final plat in accordance with municipal codes, engineering standards, and applicable development agreements and annexation agreements. Our team works with the McHenry Township Fire Protection District as needed.
